Monster sized ammo

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Will you be able to actually hit anything with this thing? All the videos for these calibers are more like watching someone hold on and pray the gun doesn't kill them. I agree that it's cool and all so is the 700 Nitro express just don't' see it as all that use full. You can also get 30 MM WW2 antique with the right permits if money is no object, not sure you want to use that for big game hunting either. http://www.luft46.com/armament/mk108.html.

They start at about $5k and then whatever upgrades you want to add. I will definately post some photos of the beast when it is done.
Ammo cost will get you though. $325 for a box of 20 rounds like the ones pictured. Reloading costs about $7ea round.

LOL-
Thats on Par with my 50 BMG....Ammo wise that is...

per wikipedia

The .600 Overkill fires a 900-grain (58 g) bullet at more than 2,400 ft/s (730 m/s), At this level of power, as the bullet spins down the barrel, the rifle is torqued in the opposite direction, often twisting the rifle out of the shooter's hand. Recoil in standard-weight hunting rifles (10 lbs. or less) is far beyond what most shooters will tolerate.
