monster specimen tank suggestions

i would suggest a big royal pleco. but i think it wouldnt be good for just one fish...

yeah, I was really thinking of one, too. they look awesome! I used to know a guy who had a 16" one in a 150 by itself. but they are soooo hard to find, and when you do, they ain't cheap.

my lfs has them all the time...75 a piece.

well, I meant up here. maybe eventually, b/c my LFS gets quite a lot of rare fish in, but they'll still be expensive... one of my first choices if my LFS ever gets them, though.
 
See if your LFS can special order you one. Also, ask if you can save some money by coming to pick it up in the bag.
 
yea a lfs should be able to order one in. check the buy and sell on here, theres always at least one going, or the dealers. MBU's are pretty cool too.
 
well, this is pretty far off in the future, like spring '07, so who knows? i'm sure a 300G with a full grown silver aro would be stunning.
 
Why only 1 fish in such a large tank?
