MONSTER Tire Track Eel Question!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Well, Attorney General only represents state interests, so the fraud would still be at the small claims level, however, I will also be reporting her to the IRS and State Tax Board. And to echo the sentiment above, any of you who don't care that LIVING CREATURES WERE KILLED don't deserve to keep any! And also deserve to be banned from this board. We're not talking about a couple of $0.99 guppies from Wal-Mart here! My pets - that I raised for 10 years! - can NEVER be replaced, but maybe I can prevent this incompetent from ever doing this to anyone else. I can't even GET another Rubber Eel - they are no longer available in the country because Brazil has banned their export!

BTW, Dark_Knight_99, you're probably going to need a bigger tank with both of your Tire Tracks in it ;c) My SpeedBump was huge in the 90gal, can't imagine having 2 that size in there. How big are your Bichirs? Been dying to find a female for my males.

I don't have family in the area and wouldn't trust a neighbor to do it. I hired someone who was supposed to be a PROFESSIONAL so I wouldn't have to have any worries about it.

Have you ever heard about animal rights? If you don't then you don't even deserve to have a pet fish!

well then, is overfishing the Amazon River so you can be a proud FISH ADDICT

whare are animal rights there?
fish have no rights
if thay did we would not have fish tanks

It seems clear at this point that bigfishsmallpond is nothing more than a useless Troll. I think we should all just ignore him and hope that he gets rightly banned.

hmm but the state interest would be that she is flalsely representing her self with state level forms like bonded and insured. Hmmm, BBB.org is another good place for more info. Maybe it's a city level offence that the town or county level states atty will take.

Well I have already reported her to the local cities that she lists doing business in. I think that's as far as I can go with that angle. I don't know the bond company (yeah, in retrospect foolish of me not to get physical copies of all the papers, but I honestly thought, "Who would do anything to hurt animals in a business like this?") I've also contacted the County for the unincorporated areas that she lists as serving. I've also posted Bulletins about the situation on my MySpace page, which has a lot of animal rights pages linked, and they're re-posting them, so word will get around. I will also try posting warnings at the local pet stores (PetCo, PetSmart, etc, if they'll let me) - I don't think she can try and counter-sue me for slander or lible because the facts back me up - well, she can try anything, I just don't think she'll win.

I'll also see if I can't report her to the BBB - I think they can list her, but can't take any action because she's not a member.

Why do you think they catch them? To breed them in thier fish farms. I bet a guy like you don't even care about your "pet fish"

I hate to say it however the cost of the suit is probably too low to get any political help on any level...This is an issue for small claims court, receive restitution and make her prove she indicated her services were licensed and bonded. Have her produce proof of her credentials in court. If she is unable to prove it. ..Then send that evidence and court case # to the state fraud and city licensing divisions....

Remember to include all costs incurred in making your claim, mileage, time off from work, court costs.. Even expenses used in gathering proof of replacement costs of fish...GL

Actually, I will sell the biggest tiretrack. I bought 4 of these before becoz the first time I got a tiretrack it died and they rarely sell these in the philipines. So when the LFS have them, i bought 4 and when I saw them that they are in good condition sold two of them which leaves me with the remaining two. I might sell one of the two guys maybe by the end of the year.
