More UFC card disappointment

And for the record,
Svang you are dead on about Carwin, and I have wrote about that in the past. His best win was a shaky one, against a B level fighter.
Mir will beat Kongo.
Lesnar will beat Carwin.
Cain would have dominated Carwin.
Cain will beat Brock.

agree,.............. only one thing I'm not so sure of is will Cain beat Brock?

It's gonna come down to who is the better wrestler, who ends up on top when the fight hits the ground. They both have a wrestling back ground so the winner will be the better wrestler that night. I actually give Brock the edge in that fight only because of the difference in size. He may be the only guy in the UFC hw division to neutralize Cain's wrestling. Cain's biggest success is because he has beaten guys down due to his dominance with the wrestling. Take that part away and against someone who is a stronger wrestler and we'll see how he fairs

I have heard recently that it was more like a month-month and a half that he was out. There is no way that you can prepare for a high level fight under those circumstances, let alone the heavyweight title fight.

Dana is a hype machine, but in this case he is more right than wrong. The UFC heavyweight class is full of guys who have tons of potential, and are possible title holders. I think a case could be made that it is the strongest of the UFC divisions, or at least the second strongest.
i think you would have to say that the light-heavy is more entertaining other than brock getting beat down. light heavy has silva, griffin, bj penn among others. it seems like its more of an anything can happen match in light heavy.

anyone gonna watch the Fedor fight coming up?

mr.reef24

wouldn't miss that for the world. Looking for Fedor to and Mousassi to come out on top. It has turned out to be a very descent card. there's a lot happening this month. 2 UFC shows, StrikeForce and Pacman vs Cotto. I'm gonna watch them all

I don't get it?

A guy is sick and can't train for almost a month, and the title of your thread is "more UFC card disappointment"?

Are fighters not allowed to get sick or injured?

And because one guy got sick, that means that the whole heavyweight division isn't any good?

Good points.I guess if Fedor got sick during training camp he would be totally unaffected and he'd just continue training.

if nothing else, carwin has had more fights, more MMA training, and IMO has proven more than lesnar. lesnar was given big time opportunities before he should have. I think lesnar would be rocked by gonzaga if he ever was given the opp to fight lesnar. but thats a side point anyways

dude arent you a fedor fan-why do you cheer for Brocks opponents if your so confident of Fedor????????????????

Frank Mir also had more fights, and more MMA training and is also a BJJ black belt, but Lesnar still smashed his face in.
