Your tank is only 55g. Not a single piranha will ever fit in your tank. Sorry.

Give up on the Snakehead. Get ready to move the Red Belly Piranhas in a few months after they outgrow the 55. I would suggest after you get sick of the Piranhas, you get 1 big fish, Red Devil / Midas / Flowerhorn and leave it in the tank by itself. 55 looks big, but it is just the first 4' long tank most people get ahold of and is really a bare minimum for any of the 3 fish I listed at best, a bare minimum.

many speices (almost any except rhombeus) from the serra genus- aswell as RBP from the pygocentrus genus can be kept in 55 gallon aquariums.

I think that Arowanas are pretty up there in aggresivity.

one mad killing machine for a 55g tank would certainly have to be a single RBP
almost all others would out grow your tank
a FH would not last more than 7-8 months in a 55g they grow large and fast thus they need a bigger tank
and about the RBP they are aggressive only when kept in shoals else they are kinda shy most of the time when small but as they grow they get more outgoing
personally if i had a spare 55g i would grow out an ARTC
they do kinda grow slow, like i am growing one out
