Most BMW Forums vs MFK

Lazy people, who are not willing to put forth effort to do research to build a basis of knowledge to understand the answers to the questions they are ask, need be banned from all forums.

Those who ask alot of basic questions that can be easily answered through simple research on their part, tend to get bullied or ignored. Find this to be the norm on most any forum.
 
Then the folks who love to say Google is your friend wouldn't get to have any fun.
 
I think it's all about how the forum is run by the mods.
I'm a member of several Mustang forums. Some are great. Members are friendly, stickies are complete and people are always willing to help. Others are trash and a waste of space simply because members are allowed to run over anyone they feel like. The attitudes of those who have been around turn into the typical 'know it all' mentality, so anyone with facts that conflict with their opinion get rained down on. I'm not gonna lie, sometimes I feel like being a troll just to get them going and spouting off bad info.
 
How bout it Matt,do you ever give in to those urges?

This is such a copout to me. Do me a favor Google something as simple as minimum tank size for an Oscar. See what you come up with. Sure there is tons of info available from Google but if you don't already know the answer how do you know who to believe? Isn't that the point of forums? To collect info from a large group of people with similar interests?

Agreed. You can find anything on google but how do you know if the information given is reliable.
