The one i saw had very blue eyes. Like the blue in a neon tetra. Is that a deformity or something wrong with the fish? Maybe something to do with the lighting? The tank it was in had no label, just a price tag of $40

I believe it's the same with bristlenose plecos. A lot of people like the yellow ones with blue eyes. I think it could just be a recessive gene. I would have bought the little guy and found out what he was. He could have been worth a lot more if he really had blue eyes.

He is a kohaku. A red and white koi. His name is Tama. Its a Japanese word meaning shiny ball, marble, or jewelOf course we do. After all, you can have about 6 dogs in a moderate sized home but you can easily have about 6,000 gallons worth of tanks spread out throughout the home and stocking each one and getting all the equipment is expensive. "Oh, your dog had to have an emergency $3,000 surgery? I just spent $4,000 on my latest ____ gallon tank." It especially gets expensive once you get large tanks. Not normal fish forum large 180 gallon, but mfk large like 500 gallons. Some of our members have fish that wouldn't even fit in a 180.
