Most impressive home aquarium fish...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I've always thought a large tank full of large schooling fish, like tinfoil barbs would be pretty cool. If you were going to go with a solitary fish, If I could get one, I'd get an Asian Aro. Or you could go with a coldwater tankbuster like a Northern Pike.

Everyone who comes over likes the arowana or the lionfish. :D

Salt water would have to the the lantern fish for me very"interesting" if i say so my self but ive also fell in love the the jade sleeper goby and the pacu

Not revive an old thread, but I think that large Dats, Asian Arows, Goliath ATF's, Fire/Tire Track Eels, and for salt water, I don't think anything, and I mean anything could touch an Octopus. Everything else is more common in pop-culture to have that " What in the hell?" effect that those other ones would. As for an experienced fish keeper that is a totaly different story. We all have such varying likes and intrests it basically comes down to what your into.

Which fish would be the most impressive to keep, could be fresh water, brackish or salt water.
When i say impressive, i mean size, aggressiveness, teeth etc.. and all the other elements that we all love about our monster fish.
The only limit (so no great whites) is that it has to be able to be kept in a home aquarium, whatever size that may be. (so no 10.000gal tanks needed)

African Tiger Fish.....

Nemo wasn't a loach :ROFL:lol. He was just a clown fish. A gimpy one, too.

Hmm. I just don't see it; clown loaches and Nemo look nothing alike to me. I don't understand how people would think they did, but I think we know that most people are stupid.
