MOST MISLABELED FISHES IN YOUR LFS

I am utterly shocked that nobody has stated the obvious:

Cichlids!

Petenia splendida - This is a freaking cichlid and looks nothing like any member of the snook family. WTF?
All species of the Chichla - Not a bass (or even a perch that N.American "bass" are "mis-labeled" as)

All L numbers for plecos mislabeled, especially the gold nugget and the orange seam pleco... The numbers are off by almost 40 every time...

I always see geo altifrons cichlids mislabeled as jurapari. I've seen that mistake at 3-4 different stores now.

I'm fortunate enough not to see many common plecos, RTCs, etc out en masse in pet stores, but boy do I see a lot of "silver sharks" (Pangasius) around here.

i forgot to add, florida gars are also mislabeled as spotted gars. which in a normal persons eye by the way is virtually the same, but call the experts. spotteds are not that common compared to florida gars.

I think Captive breed Florida gars is the most mislabeled fish in the world especially in LFS. They call them spotted gars which is mislabeled.
