Most Overated Movie

I liked pulp fiction. overrated? I don't know, maybe a little but it was a good movie

I agree it was good, but I went to several web sites of top 10-20-100 movies of all time and it was constantly listed in the top ten. No way I'd list it even close to there.

how do you rate top 100 movies? I mean, kind of hard with different genres

makes more sense to rate top 100 movies with different genres having their own top 100

i'll add another one to this thread

reservoir dogs

good? sure, but it's not a GREAT piece of art like the vast majority makes it out to be. to be honest, first time watching it I didn't even like it. had to see it a second time to enjoy it.

That's the route I'd go ... but that was why I went to about 10 different sites to get an idea. The ones rated the highest consistently I felt were over rated were Pulp Fiction, Titanic, and LoTR: Return of the King.

reservoir dogs have come on cable a few times and I never cared to rewatch it. I think two times is enough

LoTR movies are way overrated. they all get so boring at a certain point in the movies. even the Hobbit was the same way

I only call the Fellowship good ... it was the only one when it ended I was excited for the next one and wanted to see it like now!!! The rest, not so much. I'd rank the Hobbit next before the rest of the trilogy, watching the Hobbit right now actually. But I admit the hobbit was mostly carried by the three actors (gandalf, thorin, and bilbo) and not the plot.
