i had 8 5-7 in red belly piranhas and they were nasty. even if they weren't hungry they would kill for spite. the trick is to maintain feeders as a luxury item. they will eat pellets beef heart and certain vegetables for the other occasions. you can get beef heart for like 2$ a lb. and they will go nuts over that. the black pirahna is definitley the most aggressive. but it is a solitary fish. not even fish that are twice the size of them are safe. idk what ^ these ppl did wrong but mine were aggressive the whole time i had them. you dont need much light but u do need to maintain good water quality(a must). and plenty airation. Go with any Serrasalmus species, and you will most likely get the aggressive fish you are looking for, you just need to give them time to adjust to thier tank. I have a Gold Spilo and a Sanchezi. They are agressive and will try to eat you thru the glass at any given moment you give them attention. I cant even walk thru my front door without my fish going nuts trying to swim thru the glass to get at me.
