Most Vicious Piranhas

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
piranha are monsters in their own way. Yes they will tear up a feeder but at the same time the freak out and smash into the glass every time I walk in the room. Cool fish but they are not going to be what you dream of. I dont think any fish will live up to that for you actually

lol a large gulper catfish will about eat anything that will fit in its mouth. a full 12 inch one could probably eat most school piranhas lol

I agree If you want hard core feeding, then pirahnas are not your fish. Get yourself a dog and open a can of dog food, then see an eating killing machine. In other words get yourself a taco bell.

Hey everyone im uber new to the forums! and also new to the hobby of taking care of fish. I recently set up a 55g my friend had given to me. i just purchased 5 RBP all 5 are the same size roughly at about 1.2 - 1.5 inches. As soon as i got them out of the bag and into the tank they didnt seem very nervous/skittish at all.. none of them..they were all eating out of my hand at the surface.. and when i go near or put my hand in the tank..they dont budge at all...if i was brave enough im sure i could pet them :P maybe thats a little exaggerated but you know what im saying...

I know im new to this but im assuming the fishes behavior has alot to do with how they were maintained before you purchased them. we have a great petstore here and they had a nice tank full of live plants and lots of coverage.

If you want your Piranha to be aggressive you need to give them aton of coverage (live plants, caves, and floating plants to block out the light. keeping piranha in a open tank with nothing to block the light out at the surface will surely make them docile fish. The more they can hide in and behind the most aggressive they become.

1 out of the 10 p's you get one will be the most aggrassive one
dont get rbp if your looking for a killer fish
i went with gold and gold daimond
