Hi there I am new here and need a little help with my rays. I have a male and female motoro. She has had a couple of bites out or her disk but NO BABIES!!! I am thinking maybe they are too young I have had them for 3 years. They were quite small when I first got them. I dont know if its the food they eat or the temp or age. She is supposed to be blue but she is still a very very light brown and my male is super chocolate brown (he is actually really pretty) I would attach a pic but I dont know how to do that yet. Any info would be great!! Thanks Denise PS Anyone else from Canada

They should be of age to reproduce. Like Miles said size would be good to know. Sometimes the female will not respond to the male or the male is not aggresive enough and nothing will ever happen. When did you first notice the bite marks?

missing quite a bit of info here and if you click post reply and scroll down youll see manage attachments.... thats how you upload photos...

Hi guys they are not as big as a flour tortilla. Coco is larger than Peco (female is larger) They love dew worms and blood worms as treats (fish of course too) They are not big on shrimp. So I am not sure if its the food I am feeding. I will try to add a couple of pics of them. What about water?? I only add Spring bottled water but other people say they add tap water with Prime and I am scared that would harm them!! What am I doing wrong?? I mean they are healthy and happy just no babies!!! The bite marks are healed and havent had any for awhile!! That was 6 months ago I would say she is older as she was larger when we got them but I am thinking he has been trying! Maybe more water changes???

water quality can play a big part. u have a test kit?

i have a lazy male too, but he managed to knock up my female......
