Motoro Rays

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That's right! It's go big or go home around here! ;)

Well I think I will have to chat with Miles he built a pond and that is what Peco and Coco need!! I still cant get any pics on here and I have done it the right way several times mind you the power has been off and on all day TOTAL storm here!! Anyone from Canada out there??

Canada is a pretty big place, there are some other members from Canada here (I'm from south of Calgary).

I'd almost guess if the rays had bites marks on them it's from fighting and not necessarily breeding in a tank that small.

Well the bites were on the female and they are totally buddies even when its meal time once in awhile she will try to steal his food as well as hers but they are very gentle to one another and myself. I am sure you are right thou that they will get pissy with one another the tank seems big compared to them so I have time to build them a new one I just have to get in touch with Miles. His ponds are super cool!! Just checked them out. Oh I am in the Okanagan near Vernon I am actually goin to Edmonton in 3 weeks

That is funny we are goin to Big Als!!! That is where I got my tank!!OK I just tried to get pics of my rays up here again but it wont upload them?? I uploaded a pic of me for the profile in 2 secs and even tried to start an album with Peco and Coco but it wont get the pics....takes 5 min then says internet maybe down!!!!! I am super frustrated!!!! I think I am goin to throw in the towel and go to bed....try again tomorrow Thanks to everyone who has responded and given me info I really appreciate it!!! Denise

Maybe try to re-size your pix so they aren't so big..

Just keep reading in the Ponds section, and you will get lots of ideas.. read through all the old stingray posts ~ You will get a TON of ideas! Just FYI it's easier to answer more direct questions instead of broad knowledge questions ~ Most those type of broad knowledge answers are provided in the many lengthy 'sticky' threads at the top of each section!

I'd also recommend a DIY plywood/glass tank - super easy to do if you have ANY 'handyman' skills and cheap. Plus you can still see your rays from the side and not just above.
