he above tank looks like a 55 gallon have you measured it?

Or a 75. Def looks 4' not 6' with the midpoint split and the way the two Emps are sitting.

The tank has been cycled and it is 6 feet long for sure... I have measured it

Yes, got them as pups originally 4-5" and now the biggest is at least 7.5" across (will try to get a measurement when I move them).

At 7.5", I wouldn't say its outgrown the tank yet. I have 2x 7.5-8" motoro's and a 5" motoro in a 90g (48x18) temp tank, they were until this past weekend in a standard 125g, and did fine in it. They are moving to a 220g I'm setting up soon.

They do seem a little more crowded in the 90g, but its only temporary. In the 125g, they had plenty of space (and that was with dual overflows and several large pieces of driftwood).

I guess so. Better to upgrade sooner than later, as well. What are they in now?

Not yet. I want to get some glass tops cut first, currently have white Coroplast, but they moved to the new tank Wednesday and seem to be liking it (they look small again )
