I have shutoff valve on the end of my hose so that when I'm done I just shut of the water and store the hose still primed, next time I empty the tank I put one end back in the tank and open up the other end and it's instantly siphoning water.

I was dosing my tank with salt because my catfish had this white spot on him... and I wanted to know if I was putting too much salt so I stuck my tongue in the water just to see how salty it was.... just for a second..![]()
