When its about your only option to get by you take it, That is why I'm joining. Lets leave it at that.

Please no more Why are you joining questions. Or there are so many other option statements.

Lets stay strictly on the topic of the best method to move.

2 3-4" Red eared slider
1 6-7" Red eared slider
1 9"+ Red eared slider

1 7"+ Oscar. Probably much larger come time to move.
1 2.5" Oscar. Again Probably much larger come time to move.

i think somebody had already mentioned this
1. go to japan and set up a new tank.
2. fly back home, bag your fish with oxygen and stick the bag into styrofoam box.
3. check the fish as luggage and fly to japan

make sure to declare the fish when you get to japan so you dont have any problems with their customs agents

I figured ship them, as a store would, bag and pack em and mail em next day air or whatever it is. I could go ahead of my Fiancee and wait for on base housing and get a tank set up. ready to receive them.

However I still have many matters to work out, and discuss the possibility of.

You could contact someone like glades herp for tips on international shipping of the turtles.

I'll keep them in mind, I'm gonna talk to my recruiter some and see what he can do to help me out in finding out if its even possible to live on base at one of the 3 Japanese bases with turtles.

Let's leave it at you can't move them then.... Find new pets if they let you, they are strict

10 Jobs Picked All of which can go to Japan or about 99% if not all other bases.
Top 3 Base Picks will be all 3 Japanese Bases rest of the Base Picks East Coast.

From what my recruiter said theres a good chance I'll be going to Japan doing it that way. =3

Also Found out It's much better to live off base overseas and I'll be getting good money for housing allowance cost of living and grocery. =)

So lets hope I get to go!
