Okay, after more research, ughhh... I think I may have a good line-up.
If I maintain a pH of 7, and a temp of 77-80, in my 135 gallon tank, I think the following should work.
Larger Species (8-12")
1 Gold Severum
1 Chocolate (this is a maybe, not sure if it would work, two "large" species)
Medium Species (5-7")
1 Firemouth
1 Honduran Red Point
1 Tapajo Orange Head
Small Species (2-4")
1 Cockatoo Dwarf (or more, depending on availability of different species)
5? Bolivian Rams (they sound as if they do well in small groups as they are social fish, not 100% sure if this would work, but we will see)
Still considering a schooling fish such as Rainbowfish as well as considering a bichir yet.
Would like to add a black or pink convict as well, just not sure if that would work as they sound like they can be peaceful, but feisty.
