I admire the people who stay a heathly diet day in day out, 2 years ago my doc told me that I needed to lose some weight to be better off in the next 10-20 years, so i tryed tons of diets none seemed to work till I tryed the low-carb diet, I was on that diet for 1 1/2 years and lost 120lbs and ive since gone off the diet but keep my carbs below 400 a day to keep the weight off. I quit drinking sodas except the clear diet no caffine ones, i mostly drink water though. I still smoke but ive gotten to were i only smoke a pack every 2-3 days, thats something im working on quitting. I only drink on occasion but its mainly social drinkin. Since ive lost the weight my doc says ive done what he wanted and to keep it off.
Now a month ago I lost my glasses while on vacation and when I went to the optometrist to get new glasses and she seen something she didnt like so she sent me to an opthamologist, he says im in the beginning stages of glaucoma. Wow i just went on about everything lol, but i know how hard it is to stay on diets at first and how hard it was to get off caffine, my headaches were terrible and usually lasted 3/4 of the day but as my body got used to not having it, they eventually went away. So stick with it and the main thing is have the will power to keep it up.
