wow! awesome! I cannot wait to build 2 like this this summer. Thanks for the pics.

How many inches of water do you plan to put in?

24" so i guess techically it wont be 1200g :)

may attempt to build the filter today, after reading BOTRs pond build i realized the design in my head got similar to his just my internals will be different, i think

$100 of foam later :D:D

i tried to rent a mini back-hoe over the summer to build a pond but the wife went nuts thinking i was about to make the entire back yard a pond, maybe next summer ill get into that project, nothing major, maybe 1000g and a stream

If only the entire yard could be a pond...oh the possibilities. :D

I'm just hoping the hole doesn't cave in over the winter. Our plan was only 3000g but the guy we hired to dig it also unearthed 8 HUGE sofa-sized boulders and one even bigger one that is still down there (no way its coming out) so that gave us an extra 2K and I'm not complaining. ;)

kinda got delayed on progress, went to chicago for the wifes b-day and missed the delivery of the liner so i have to pick that up today, i did get my heater yesterdat from premium aquatics and im changing my filter all together i think and switching to a stock tank with the 3700gph pump in the pond and another pump in the sump feeding two 2" returns, wish me luck

liner in and filled, updated pics tomorrow, here is a pic when we started filling it before folding the corners PITA

Looks great so far. Send me a PM when you've got it up and ready. My TSN should be ready for that new home.
