I would want to get some sort of drip tray in there. The debris will eventually bypass the filter media that way it is currently setup. Great build though. Looks good.
i had thought about it, going to have two 8" florecent fixtures above it so ill see how that goes first

Be careful with your cycling, i had 30 goldfish in a new setup paddling pool to cycle it before my big cats went in, the goldfish went through it all fine. But still had a big nitrite spike when i introduced the large fish. lost a rtc, perruno and silver aro.

yeah i usually move too fast with the cycling but im going to take my time, i did go get the pacus from the LFS today though, i figured it cant be no worse then three 16" plus pacus in a 40g tank so we'll see what happpens
