I see this in Casper as well, it normally grows out in a few days. It's new skin/scales that will peel just like the rest of him did.

I had been wondering about it, but yeah they never last long.

I'm still amazed at how much these guys eat and how fast they grow. For me it's been the fastest growing fish I've kept.

I read somewhere that sometimes they peel different patterns as adults or close to the 9 or 10 inch mark. I've only kept a full orange one before so I'm wondering if that could be the case on this variety.

Changed a few things over the last few weeks.

Got some rocks from a garden store, added an fx6 with sponges and got some silver dollars

Everything looking great so far.

I am not sure if they peel again, Casper is my first Amphilophus. Raised a few Oscar's to adults no other big fish so learning as I go with this guy.
