Hello bomber; You can keep digging but I doubt that it will make things better for you. The statement about fish dying was from one of the posts of another member as were three of the other statements. Not about my experience but as examples of posts that caution against Silicone II. I provided examples of posts to back up my claim even if the format did not suit you. Do your own search and you will find the posts.
Regardless, you had no call to say what you did and I do not think that kind of comment has any place on this forum. I still feel that you should be banned from this forum.

I know there are a lot of comments about GE silicone on which ones you should or should not buy. It gets confusing sometimes so I just pay an extra five bucks and buy the regular aquarium sealant at a LFS or Petsmart. This is just what I do, no flames please.

That is from the GE website. That leads me to believe they put something in it to inhibit mold growth. The GE silicone 1 page doesn't say anything about mold free product protection. I can post it for comparison if you like.

Multiple times in that sticky GE II is warned as not being safe for aquarium, a few people seem to maintain its ok but the resounding answer is it's not ok to use. You proved yourself wrong.

What your referring to is the picture I posted, clearly indicating a mold inhibitor which bomber seems to conveniently ignore.
