But looking forward: Don't take your tank down on account of it, put a sponge over your filter intake if you can (to keep the finer floating sand particles out) and do your regular water changes. Higher volume & faster schedule will get the crap out quicker, but I'd say don't overdo it depending on what else is in your tank etc etc.
In summation...it'll go away with regular water changes
and OP: nice tank!! I like that driftwood piece. If it were mine I'd probably turn it over so that the thick stump & that one small piece curving upwards would be what it rests on and all the roots were sticking up. Looks killer though.
