Really sorry to hear about the ram killing one of your apistos! :( I didn't think they'd get that territorial, at least not in this big of a tank. Good to know.

I didn't think it would be aggressive at all, it's the smallest fish besides the tetras in the tank, but it was super aggressive after it settled in the tank.

I would think the apistogramma could handle himself, but clearly not.

No I have giant danios but I've seen barilius bleekeri and another one I forgot it's name, at my lfs and dam they were hot. If I were you I'd also add a pair of crenicichla notophthalmus. Not really a fan of cichlids, but pikes are like a cross of cichlid and oddball. They're pretty dope with a unique body shape and swimming style. Discus origins has a pair for like 50 bucks too. Just don't know how well they'll do with your current stock, worried a bit about the rummy noses but if you have those angel with em I think it'll be ok. Never tried a planted tank before, gotta try one, yours looks so nice except I don't even wanna know how much all the plants and everything costed lol
