Cheers mate, it's been a long time coming, spent many years dreaming of a set up like this so it is great to finally be able to kick back and enjoy it.

That said, the bug is already starting to kick in and I'm looking at the 400L tank (that I'm supposed to be selling!) sitting empty next to my computer and coming up with all sorts of great ideas. Watch this space!

As for fish, I'm thinking of adding a small group of Uaru, and perhaps something schooling and mid-swimming, but my choices are fairly limited as it has to be; large enough to not get eaten, South American, not going to nip the geos fins, and available here in NZ. I think the only fish we have that fits the bill is the pink tailed Chalceus, and I'd be happy to have a group of them in there but none are available at the moment.
Get out of my head! I swear you and I have the exact same taste in fish. You are stocking your tank with everything I was planning on putting in my big tank soon. I have the Geos, the plecos, and the Severum already. Once I get the tank I plan on adding a black arowana and a couple Chalceus.

Love your tank bud, and your stock more!
