Love this tank. The loaches would look great in there IMO. I need a stump like that. Perfect size.

Awesome looking tank especially lovin' the drift, Geo's and Black. Got me thinking I should get some Geo's myself.
I'm not sure if the poll is closed or you have made up your mind because for some reason I can't load oage 4 but I would keep it pure SA and forget the loaches.
Stick with your original idea and get some uaru they have great personality and will liven up the tank... maybe some happlo cats or a school of pictus if you want some colour and movement?
I feel your pain re. Fish import rules... I live in Australia which is just so restrictive. I am on my way home as I write this from manila with my wife and visited some fish shops here... you can get everything... Aripima? No worries, 100 bucks... aros? For 8-10 inch 70 bucks... rays, no probs.... made my mouth water! K
