Be careful when feeding mealworms. Baby aro's can have a hard time digesting the shell.

No fish digests the shell that I know of. That's why you find them floating everywhere. I wouldn't feed mealworms at all -- it could cause digestive problems, especially in a fish so small.

Too many meal worms will cause impaction. Make up you vary his diet too. Once he grows you can imagine how many meal worms it would take. Try getting a staple floating pellet and give meal worms as treats.
