^ Always happy to do an updated and ff your talking about the snails in the latest update, i think they are called abalone nerite snails if i'm not mistaken?
The root system is slowly taking over one little corner just underneath the water fall... which personally i don't mind as it gives my shrimp some places to hide...
Although with that being said, if the roots start taking over the whole back area then i'd have to do some serious trimming..
Very beautiful ! I think I like those new shrimps even mare than the cherries. Your plants look so healthy, gorgeous colors too! Thinking of trying just a terrarium myself. I don't think I have the time or patience to do the kind you've done. Great job FH!
And yes, i actually have to agree i prefer these shrimp over the cherries too... although they do seem to like to hide a lot more than my cherries did...
The upkeep itself isn't too bad... pretty straight forward actually, just water changes and a little trimming every once in a while... although hard to say what it will be like after another year or two when the roots start taking over
But i think you should try something like this out yourself, even if it is a terrium... its actually quite a lot fun watching it grow in and changing as time goes on...
