Wow Jenn:eek: Great write up and much envy for your effort. The filtration system setup looks crazy and it's like a work of art! Also your cats look very happy and healthy, also nice that you added some Pbass's:) I'd suggest adding a Arowana and your tank would be set;) Anyways keep up the good work:thumbsup:

The filtration you are complimenting was done by R1_Ridah. It's not over complicated, just very versatile (though I admit that looking at the pictures I find it much harder to understand than just looking at the system itself). There was supposed to be a large arowana going in there, but, sadly, he jumped to his dead before I ever got him. :( Instead, there are monos in there now, and I'm really enjoying them.

Ben, I'm still alive bro :(.............................

Wowo Jen, this thread brings many emotions. First it's all smiles :D when I see that it went to a great home. Then it's tears  from missing it...... In a few weeks I will be over Freddy's, perhaps after I can swing by again and do another shoot. Got my new camera so I'm itching to take pictures.

BTW - love the post it's... :headbang2

Well, Joey. I love the tank immensely. While it always makes me feel a little sad inside that you miss it so much, I have to say I'm so glad you sold it to me! I got a question about suction cups from Freddy. Are you helping with a move? And of course! Come over and take photos!!! I'll make sure to do a big water change the night before and then not feed till after you are done with photos. Let's plan ahead so I have enough R/O water for a nice big water change. Glad you're enjoying the post!!!

love your catfish

Thanks, so do I. My RTCxTSN (my big baby and probably favorite fish) had his face pushed up to the glass this morning with his whiskers feeling the glass trying to get my attention and see what's going on outside. So, I have to admit, that I walked up to him and kissed the glass. I know... I'm:screwy:. But, I swear I don't do this to any of the others. I've just got an enormous soft spot for that guy.

LOL, yeah, but at least you got all the back story that goes with it! It's a lot more cohesive that way. :) And hey, I started with guppies in a 10 gallon tank. Everyone starts somewhere. It has taken us 7 years of fish keeping as a team (so 14 between the two of us) to get this far.

Studying everyone else's projects is a great way to learn what to do and what not to do. Standing on the shoulders of giants is a great way to look big and awesome. LOL

lol thanks:D

Beautiful setup and fish, they must love all the space. That giraffe and the cichla are my fave :)

Not surprised you like the giraffe. :) Do you still have yours?

It certainly sounds like they are well looked after by their "Mom". When I get my own place, I will certainly be looking at something like this if I can afford it.
