My rtcxtsn and me have just recently been getting more friendly.
I've been touching his head and petting him the past couple of days.
They are great cat's.

Tsn belly is huge! Nice bass

Seriously! Bad kitty. Ended up causing me a little ammonia spike cause he had to go steal the hyrbid's tilapia, TWICE!

you just made me consider getting one for my tank, do you know whats the least water temperture they can handle??

The hybrids are tropical. I think between 70 and 82. It hit 86 this summer during a heat wave. He survived, but I like to keep the temp about 80 usually. Necrocanis had his guy survive a power outage and some very cold temps, but he barely made it through.

Beautiful setup and fish, they must love all the space. That giraffe and the cichla are my fave :)

Thanks and yeah. They are always swimming around in there and they love to play in the current. They are all super active. :)

It certainly sounds like they are well looked after by their "Mom". When I get my own place, I will certainly be looking at something like this if I can afford it.

Well, thanks for not calling me crazy. :) It's been a 7 year process and still is changing.

As mine grew up he went from shy tiny catfish to super friendly and curious. It didn't really start to hit till he was about 18" and then he started really getting friendly. Once I put in him the 600, he's constantly staring out. I think he can see more in the garage now and loves it.

We need some updated cichla pics....cant get enough of this tank.

I'll post a link in this thread to any new photos I post on my original 600 thread, but I'm not putting any new photos in this thread to keep it simple. When I have a bunch more, I'll make a new photo thread with dates 01/23/10 to the date of the new thread.

As for updated photos, they aren't gonna happen today. I'm in the middle of a water change in the 600 so the pictures are gonna suck till I get done and the cats stop throwing sand around. Although, if I can catch anyone doing it or wearing a good heap of it I'll definitely post a photo. The TSN ended up wearing and swimming around with a heavy covering of sand from her nose down her back for about 5 minutes the other day. Couldn't fine my camera though. :irked: I will see about getting some photos of the baby orinos in the 100 gallon and you can see some of the future residents. Also, I've told a couple people I'd get more details on the supposed to get more on the R/O system, but that will be a different thread.

Hi Wet Whiskers! Can't believe I just bumped into your thread now. Your tank is beautiful. You should post some feeding videos or pix. I love the niger, can I have it? hehe, do you think there's a chance that a niger will puncture my liner if I get one of those? Love your Giraffe also, I might get one of those... Love your tank!

I also have a long row of blue drums...hehe BTW, i got a new Ray!

Great documentation, pictures and vidz, excellent tank build thread! Great great job, we appreciate the effort!

Awesome pickup! Awesome stock, but I liked the beautiful mermaid in there better.:grinno:
