my 625 gallon DIY plywood aquarium build

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
No they are just sitting on each other. I do not have any fish big enough to push them over yet.

This is the hardest part. I want to put all of my fish in the tank but need to give it some time. Under the tank.IMG_0763.JPGIMG_0769.JPGIMG_0770.JPGIMG_0766.JPGIMG_0767.JPGIMG_0768.JPG

Yup, that'll hold it. lol Nice job! This whole build shows a level of discipline and anal retentiveness that I admire. :headbang2

I know what you mean about the hardest part. At least you get to see them in the other tank for now. I recently started a little 29 gallon tetra tank to sit on the end of my desk and once again, I added too many fish too fast. I have little patience so now I'm looking through cloudy bacteria filled water. Bacteria is keeping the toxins in check, though. (filter was seeded from another tank) I know it is going to happen if I stock too quickly and I do it anyways. I'm weak! Me want more FISHES!

Pretty sure you could get some tenants under there!

It is one big sheet. I used welder to bond the pond liner to the glass and the 3M 2500 in the corner between the glass and pound liner. there will be creases in the corners of the tank that will not look vary nice but it was worth keeping the pond liner one peace. I glued the glass to the pond liner while it was on the ground then lifted the glass and pond liner up into the tank. I have a link to ware I got the pond liner in earlier posts. like I said at the start of the thread the goal was to be able to take the tank apart and get it out of the house with out cutting anything. I estimate that if the tank was empty it would only take two people an hour to take it apart and load every ting on a trailer.

Well all of the supports are under the house to keep the floor up. I think I could park a Mack truck in my living room :-) Now I need to finish the braces for the sides of the tank. So I can fill it all the way.
