business end view, the right panel has the water-in line, to a pre-filter, to a dechlorinator, to a water/timer controller. Putting 3 multi-switch outlets, one will control night/day lights automatically. Also the overflow 2" pipes to the outside...

aerial view of the setup..to the right is the overflow pipe, center the pump to the filter box, center you can also see the permanent water-in line. To the left is the return from the filter box..

By the way I forgot to mention that it took 2 guys to lift this unit from the wood crate it came in an put in my garage floor...from there one, I could slide it in the floor to the right position... weights a lot less than my 180 gal glass tank for sure...

pic of the overflow pipe through the glass window....I usually make my overflow "Z" pipes in such a way that I can rotate it from where it connects to the bulkhead that way I can control the water level; that means don't cement it at the base! The plastic mesh over the 2" pipe is also from Aquatic Ecosystems..real nice...not sure why I added a clean-out end, since it just slips out, but oh welll....notice how I used a lot of silicon to seal the bulkhead. While I was at it, I also sealed the inside of the window, just in case...

Dan, Tank looks great, but the pictures are huge. I'm on cable and I keep timing out before they load... If you get a chance could you size them down a bit.

how big is the viewing window?
