Such a good looking GT. One of the most underrated species in my opinion. Easily one of the most beautiful SA and IME pretty mild mannered.

It's easy to dose with Safe for smaller tanks, even 5 gallons. I use these measuring spoons to treat 4ppm chloramine.

I need to make a change to safe. I slightly overdose prime vs city water chloramine, but I really go through the stuff. I think safe would definitely be more cost effective. I have Prime on subscription I go through it so much. Well doesn't help that I am OCD on WC's.

I think Safe is more tailored for big tank keepers.

I need to declorinate 127 gallons, 130 gallons, and 20 gallons.
Two bigger ones are easy slightly less than 1/8 tsp.
But that 20 gallon tank is somewhere around 1/32 of a tsp and that's for 37.5 gallon .... no thank you I don't want the hassle.

Prime is basically safe with water pre added.

I didn’t mean the overdosing would be harmful but definitely more costly.And since I’m now using a python I have to dose full tank volume

Apparently a 20long is not enough room for a male HRP and a Bushynose pleco. He kept nipping the pleco so I had to move him in with my GT and friends
