my aro didnt eat tonight

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
oops missed the two nights skipped part...still even a week without food isn't that big of a deal. I reciently started feeding Pinky by hand. It's quite an expierance...as long as shes the only fish there she's very gentle but if one of the Pbass so much as looks in the foods direction I end up counting my fingers...

Howes the water

something is making him unhappy, remove all the fish, dim the lights add some black water extract and take out carbonf rom the filter. That will calm him down a lot. Once it's all down try to feed him. If you can get a hold of a worm like thing such as a centipede or Superworm that would be nice since most aros can't refuse those even on hunger strikes.

Don't worry about him not eating remember when arowanas breed the males and sometimes females don't eat for months. If he does end up dying it's not because he didn't eat its because of some sort of illness. Best of luck with him.

rise temperature, change water, and add some salt(if necessary), we called it "same old three treats". dont force him to eat, wait and see a few days after the treat, if he's still no appetite, try some insects food. normally they cant resist insects.
