you stated you feed live perhaps a bad gold fish parasite .lights off small water change every other day your tank has ben to cold and i hope your not feeding unquarantine gold fish.black water salt may help also is he getting spooked by a tank mate?ps how big is your tank?

im sure he wants a bigger tank,im going as fast as i can on the 240 :(
but uhh ya 90g :nilly: 60"L 18w 20t
and i measured him while he was sitting still and it looks like 24-25" :eek:
he can still turn good tho,i can see that.
also remember that he was fine till about 2 weeks ago
 
Better get that 240 cleaned and cycled that's to much aro you may run out of time .also what kind of wild and ware from ,:also sometimes even small tank mates can spook a aro.You may have a bio load problem i hope you have great filtration and do tons of water changes. just trying to help you may want to relocate all other fish that may give you more time.
 
Maybe he's on the Adkin's Diet for the Holiday's... :-) Just not hungry.
