if anyone has some pellet trained fish and would like to try them I would be willing to send some of them. I only have enough for a very small amount and I will send them for free.

I am in, PM me if you plan to ship some. I will pay for shipping.

Can we get a picture of these pellets. I am just curious what they look like...

Chad

P.S. Wurm that redline is lookin hot in your avatar.

to cheapen it try replacing the salmon and beefheart with tilipia fillets and shrimp. they are both very cheap and should be about the same in the end....not to mention shrimp really brings out the red's in red fish.

I can't imagine the crickets being very nutritious. How much are you putting in and what is the cost?

Have you tried using a dehumidifyer? My mom had one of these and we would make stew for camping with the stuff it makes it so that the food is very dry and light for carrying when camping.

thanks for all the intrest. I am working late hour this week so I will try and pm some of you to send you some. The crickets and krill are the 2 most expensive ingredients but I don't want to sacrifice quality for cost. I am not using them as the main staple of the pellet though. I dried them on a food dehydrator and then froze them. I got this first batch too dry though. Also I referenced some other pellets on the market and I am higher then most but thats at interenet costs. My pellet would be WAY more affordable if you were buy pellets from LFS. hikari massivore delight at big al's runs $25.00 for 13.4 ounces. thats $1.87/oz my pellets right now are 2.19/oz after some tweeking I hope that these are appealing. Also consider these are REAL ingredients. Not by-products from fish and other things. Also no fillers or preservatives other than the natural preservatives in the foods like vitamine E

How do you bind all those ingredients? How do they stick together forming a pellet? Here I use gelatin for that purpose, but I make freeze cubes, not pellets...
