I recently took out a tinfoil barb out of my tank since he was always chasing(bullying) and exausting the only other barb, and then after separating the two both had calm down. And the bullied tinfoil would always follow the pacu slowly around wherever the pacu went. If the pacu was in the corner, the barb was in the corner. If the pacu wanders off, the tinfoil was right behind him.
But now, I am seeing the tinfoil chase the pacu at fool speed? Is the barb bullying the pacu, or are they playing tag? Which the barb is always "it".
The pacu doesn't seem to do anything back when he gets tapped on the tail.
Is the tinfoil barb getting stressed out because he is a schooler and is single? Or is he just playing around with the pacu?
How many of you have kept schooling fish by singles successfully(especially tinfoils)?
