I call this sp. Guinea, aka 'Lapen' in Japan. Thought to be a possible wild hybrid of guinea lap and endli. 16" now.

The pics that I've been waiting for. Wish my palmas palmas get to that size. I don't think mine will ever grow to that size as I don't see anymore grow rate. They are around 12-13 inches. Seem to have stop growing or just taking their time. Lol! That lapen is the one that I've always trying to get.

Please post pics of it right next to sp. dabola.

I have this palmas palmas for 5 yrs. Last pic in the link below is from when i first got it. He's grown a lot, largest i know of. I have the rest of my palmas palmas for less time, but i doubt the other ones will ever get this big.

No, the 'Lapen' isn't the Dabola. They are different. 'Lapen' is what the Japanese calls it. Toyin never gave this a name since it's the only one he had that came in as a contaminant with a batch of endli.

All are very nice Ricky, knew you had a gigantic polli but didn't realize you had a huge palmas as well, that thing is enormous!!

I like the lapen, it does have a similar pattern to the koliba, love the shot of it going up for air

Interesting pattern on the "Lapen" with a weird endli pattern but the colour on the head suggest lap. funky.
