to all members i posted before regarding my Texas and mistakenly i wrote 8 inch, today i measured it . Its 7 inches long i don't know about its sex.
he/she is very scared when he/she see any human near the tank. eats shrimp and live fishes.Please comment of him/her.

Here is a pic of my male - he is about 9" now and yes they are slow growers, although the growth f mine may have been hampered by his breeding habits. He like to do the deed with any willing female .
By the way I am looking for a high quality female carpinte for him, she should be a least 6" as he can be rough on his girls.
