They look great. Looks like a real atabapo setup. Even have cabomba to boot. Very nice tank! What other fish other than the pikes and the hoplarchus do you have in there?

today they were making a sandstorm in the tank..and some changing of colour..

Thanks for all the positiv feedback.The reason i think the pikes are calm,well not all the time,is that the psittacus were a year in the tank before the pikes arrived,and
they have grown a lot bigger now so they can argue with the pikes
and are not being harassed so much as when they were smaller.
Have started to cut poly filter pads to the eheim 2075
and replace it now and then. My eheim 2260 is a real workhorse.Also use water treatment from sachem.
All this because of new water pipes in the street outside the house.
Will not take any risk with the water quality ,settlements from the new water pipes.
Does it help,yes i can se clearer water and stronger coluo rs in the ciklids.

they are still doing great,water pipes in the street outside the house are clean now,so i have dropped the water treatment,they are fascinating as ever..getting 75%waterchange every week ,god filtration and so on.wery simple actually to have them in nice shape..
