Newer check the ph or something else in the tank,but i have soft water in to the house and a lot of roots and cattapablades in the tank.
Have very good filtration a eheim 2260 and 2075 ,so the filtration is very good,also change water 70% a week.
Have had spawning of s,daemon 2 times but never free swimming larvae ,so the water is light acid and soft i think,140 gallon.
You must post pictures of the pikes you have ,i know they are very fine.

they have passed the 30cm(12 inches)and are very amazing fishes.
