i'm not quite sure why, but it works on gravel. but when i suck it on sand, the dirt/poop goes like spinning around the tube but not getting suck. i bought it for about 15$ or so.
my dad just bought me a bichir . what should i do ? O.O

is it true tht bichirs can stop eating suddenly or most likely fasting? the other fish in my tank are fine though.
