I wouldn't add anything more in to that tank.. You need to be 100% sure your goonches are healthy and happy. They've come a long way from home and probably semi different water parameters. It's hard to mimic their environment even if you know the point of collection. Keeping wild caught anything in a smaller controlled environment is a difficult thing to do.

I would say check your parameters and move excess or new tank mates to a different tank and let the goonches chill in a species tank

Thanks for your input. I was afraid the mahseer's were causing stress so I moved them into my 150. Hopefully my armatus or bichirs don't pick them off but the goonches have the tank to themselves once again

Thanks guys. This has really hit me hard. I didn't think I could ever feel like this from dying fish. I've pretty much decided that I'm gonna sell everything. Narrow it down to just 1 tank now

So I've decided guys, like all of you knew would happen, after sleepin it off, there's no way I can part with what I have left. I'm gonna go to the lfs later today with a water sample and see if they will give me a discount on another goonch. If not, I'm gonna have to think about it but if they do, I'm still not gonna come home with 1 today. Just in case the masheer's did bring in some type of disease, I want to be safe before bringing another 1 home. I did a 90% wc, cleaned out the filter pads and rinsed off the biobags with tank water. Is there any other precautions you guys recommend I do?
