Oh my lord Matt, I'm so sorry for your loss.
No idea what happened. Right now its looking like a power surge or power outage. The only odd think were the temperatures were off in my tanks. Needless to say I am reconsidering fishkeeping because of this lose. My heart is literally broken right now. I never thought I would be in tears over a fish. I am having them both mounted and immortalized. Anyone who followed this thread and all of you who know me and my love for these fish knows how hard this is on me. I want to find a goonch cat immediately but have no access because no one can get them right now. I loved learning about these fish and having them was a real gift.
Did not lose the entire tank. My Jaguar catfish, atlantic tarpon and JD all seem fine.
that sucks don't give up though! you might contact wes he has a few in his personal collection I believe you might be able to work something out
