MY DIY christmas LED lighting, project

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Not likely. You would probably have to give each sword plant their own array of red, green, blue & white LED's. Not really worth it...

Still waiting for the 2 led strings to come in. I kinda dont want them to because im afraid its gonna end up being yes or no. If it fails I have my g/f 55 gallon to play with, but then that just means another project to do on the 330.

What if you paint the plywood bright white on the LED side...

It might make it slightly brighter. Might give it a try on the other side of the tank.

Ah I forgot about the painting, I will have to paint it then if the final outcome is something I like.

I am curious, although it would be quite a bit more work to drill, if you picked up a cheap mirror , and used it rather then wood, would this be worth the effort to increase the lighting ?

Be better than wood, but do you wanna drill 600holes in glass? NOT ME! Id just buy mirrored acrylic if I went that route

On my canopy I used the aluminum foil tape, maybe ill do the same or paint it, not sure yet.
