We want to see what these 'traps' catch so hurry up.

I checked the traps when the sun came up. One of them was stolen in less than 24 hours. The other was empty but had Nessie swimming around out there.

Not thinking about it when I set my new trap yesterday, this was the view from the edge of the river where the trap was. This thing is manned 24/7 and not by engineers if you know what I mean (they drive the train). I have an idea who stole my trap...no one else was around.

Sturgeon? That may explain a weird set of fish bones I saw this morning. Two easy identify'ers were part of a gar and a 14 inch pleco (this one apparently didn't learn to fly). I'll take pictures tomorrow morning.

Here are some pics of dead fish. For a change, the bottom of my toilet is not involved. I am now certain that these are both plecos. Both are huge. The one without my toes in the pic is about 50% bigger.

Bummer.

Hint... I alway put an Official looking tag on my traps with the usual "Do Not Tamper", "Federal Law" University of _____ etc. etc. But I've probably just been lucky, nobody ever wants to go as far back as I go :D.

Great Idea, It'll prolly work every time.

looks good!

only thing i can say is it looks alil lumpy. (needs sanded more, but it may be the way it looks in the pic) also you'd have been fine with jsut the 2 back hooks.

does it work?
