lol i have mixed guesses on that. maybe some more people can chime in....i believe i have 4 jurupari, and 1 leucosticta

Those are some beauties you have there. I just love Geos and Satans (lol). In fact the LFS here has a really beat up fish that I would like to rescue but I am not currently running any tanks. They have it labeled as a Geophagus jurupari, which it's supposed to be a S. jurupari of course, but I digress... I am unable to tell them apart from a S. Leucosticta, so for all I know, it could even be one of those.

It is beat up pretty bad because it is in a tank with a sub-adult salvini, a Jack Dempsey, a convict and a couple more I can't recall. He is a pretty good size too, probably about 7". I just feel really bad for him because his fins are really ragged.

But anyways, you have some great looking fish.

what are you waiting for!!!!!!! setup some tanks...i just rescued a 4" last week. my eartheaters are in with a convict and a JD right now till the con and jd get a little bigger and meaner...no problems at all. they dont clash

The reason that I haven't set up anything is because I will most likely be moving to another State in 3-4 months and I don't want to drag any fish with me. That is why I had to get rid of my big boy in my avatar... I couldn't bring him with me when I moved to where I am now.

I am not 100% sure it is his tankmates that are beating him up but his fins looks pretty ragged though, so who knows?
