That is a S. leucosticta. It will look exactly like your adult with red on it's operculum and back and blue-ish spots all over its cheek when it matures.

The pair of abdominal spots on S. daemon are very clear from a young age, and the caudal peduncle spot is much larger.

Very nice fish - are yours wild caught? I'm certain the one in your avatar is S. leucostica, and you do have several pics of jurupari(they do not have as many spots on their cheeks).
