Haha yea. The body is kinda like armor. If u look close there's like spikes on the side of the body...super cool. I've only seen 6-7 inches but that's on YouTube. I'm not sure they get to 9.

Thats what it said on AC tropical fish (a random fish site), although it is noted 9 inchers are quite rare and probably quite old. Thats what i meant by the "hooks" those spines are great, i hope nobody tries to eat this guy. If itll be anyone itll be my Ornate bichir and that wont end well for him
